The very compact and powerful 3-part heating element is especially suitable for building climate chambers and drying ovens. The PTC characteristic of the element means that no further driver is needed. The power consumption automatically reduces upon reaching the maximum heating temperature. This rules out an intrinsic destruction of the module. The heat power can be varied by removing the individual heating plates. Upon start-up with three heating plates and an ambient temperature of 25°C as well as an air current of 3m/s through the element the intake of electrical power can be up to 150W. In the continuous operation without air throughput (Tamb = 25°C) the power intake is approx. 1.75A. The laterally placed mounting lashes simplify the installation of elements.
