Makita's DPT353 is a cordles 23 gauge pin nailer which is equipped with a low reaction force mechanism, enabling easier nailing of long pins. The DPT353 takes 23 Gauge (0.6mm) size nails and can deliver 15, 18, 25, 30 and 35mm length nails. The magazine will hold 100 nails of each of these sizes. The finished driving depth, that is, how deep the nail is set (whether above the surface or below it), is adjusted by the simple rotary adjuster adjacent to the nose assembly. An anti dry-fire mechanism is built into the DPT353 which stops the nailer operating if the machine has run out of nails. Compared with previous generations of Makita nailer, the nose tip on the DPT353 has been redesigned for better visibility enabling the operator to get a quick and easy view of the desired firing point on the work piece. Part of the Makita 18v LXT cordless system, the DPT353 is built for maximum convenience on site and shares battery compatibility with a wide range of additional professional grade power tools.
