The Hoodman H-400 LCD Hood is an excellent solution for a glare-free view of your camcorder LCD screen when shooting on location. It quickly attaches to camcorders with a 3.5"" to 4"" standard LCD monitor screen. The hood is constructed from durable nylon over sturdy plastic inserts for long-lasting use even in demanding, modern-day cinema production environments. The nylon material shows excellent water-resistant properties for protection against the elements. The hood is mounted using snug-fitting, integrated elastic mounting straps with Velcro closure for an adjustable fit. This LCD hood shields LCD camcorder screens against annoying glare caused by direct sunlight when shooting outdoors or intense artificial light when shooting indoors. This ensures an easy-to-see display for recording and reviewing videos and/or still images. The hood folds flat and does not take up much room in the camera bag for easy storage and transport.
