24 ultra-bright smart LED NeoPixels are arranged on a circle with 2.6" (66mm) outer diameter. The rings can be concatenated, but it is possible to control every single LED by only one microcontroller pin because each LED is addressable individually as the driver chip is inside the LED. Each LED has a constant current drive at 18 mA to provide very consistent color even if the voltage varies. The design is powered by 5 V/DC and slim because no external choke resistors are required.
